With 90 degree weather in the forecast for next week, the 1st day of school may seem to have come too early. These are the times within which we live.
Constantly, we are being sprayed by high flying airplanes leaving long trails of "God-know-what", since the government denies it's being done. This is not helping our situation. A more honest approach is to 1st acknowledge the fact that we're being sprayed and then tell us why. In lieu of that, we are at liberty to speculate. In this time of global warming and unexpected challenges, take some time out to get to know the plants in your environment. Find out which plants are edible and which are not. One common plant we detest in our yard is the dandelion. Well, the dandelion may become your best friend. Stop killing them. Getting to know your plants and your neighbors in the space where you live may be for you, long-term survival benefits.
Stay out of the heat, drink plenty of water and don't put that sweater on your little children going for their 1st day of school - at least, not yet. It's too hot.
